I'm sorry this is so late! FWIW, I am pretty easy to please, and if you've started writing already, I'll probably like whatever it is, so long as you haven't tripped over one of my few DNWs.
I love that you'll be writing me a fic in one of these tiny fandoms of my heart! You are the best. :D
First of all, some general things I love: - All categories of fic -- gen, het, slash, femslash, poly ships!
- So many great tropes and genres: hurt/comfort, loyalty, happy endings, canon-divergence AUs, grand romances, worldbuilding, epic battles and arguments, philosophical discussions, crossovers, Space AUs, poetry, experimental styles, interactive fiction, outsider POVs, original characters, stuff that makes you think, stuff that makes you cry, stuff that makes you laugh.
- Smut, if you'd like to write it: all kinds of sex acts (hand jobs, oral, vaginal, anal, intercrural, frottage, masturbation, rimming, comeplay, watersports, tentacles), incest, dubcon, underage (as long as all characters have been through puberty), rough sex, breathplay, loving sex, aromantic sex, sex as ritual, Something Made Them Do It, sex pollen, light dom/sub, sex involving multiple people, etc etc. If I've written it, I like it. If I haven't written it, I probably like it too if it's not in my DNWs.
- All ratings!
- Past tense is preferable, but I don't mind present tense. (If you want a challenge, I'd be intrigued by future tense.)
- Happy with first, second, or third person POVs.
- Fanart! I would absolutely adore to get fanart treats for any of my beloved fandoms.
And then, there are some things I don't love and would rather not see in fic:- Anything other than a mention of religion (particularly Christianity), except where noted.
- Outright rape/noncon, torture, or extreme physical or mental suffering.
- A focus on sickness or illness, or pregnancy and children. Ok to mention these things as they are part of life, but I don't want a fic all about them.
- Extreme, out-of-character, romantic angst or miscommunication. If the problem keeping the lovers apart can be solved with one straightforward conversation, then it's gone too far. Legitimate misunderstanding or miscommunication is entirely fine.
- For smut: scat, vomiting, heavy BDSM like ritualised whipping or beating.
- Homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, racism, sexism or the effects thereof as a major part of the story.
- For canons where I've expressed a strong preference for slash/femslash, putting the characters in het relationships. Gen is fine if you can't do slash/femslash. .)
Now, onward to the fandoms!
