I'm so excited that you'll be creating something for me! I can't wait to see what you come up with.
Prompts are optional; if you get another idea, just run with it! The most important thing is that you have fun and love what you write/draw, I'm sure I will love it too.
Treats of all kinds are very welcome, including prompts I’ve given for previous years.
What I generally love to see in fanworks:
For art: Visual depictions of any of the prompts would be really good - I've tried to give prompts that can be depicted as art in some way. But mainly I'm interested to see your vision of the setting and the characters. I am utterly indifferent to conventional beauty standards and would in fact prefer to see age lines where appropriate, as well as people of varying sizes, shapes, and skin tones.
I absolutely adore maps and architecture; I draw clumsy layouts of houses and lands when I need to visualise where in a space people might be, and I would love anything you can come up with -- a layout of Himring, a map of Rivendell, architectural plans for Four Seasons Manor, etc, etc. I'm especially interested in art as character study: what a character wears, carries, is using, is doing, says so much about who they are as a person.
If you'd like to draw me smuttier art, I love suggestive clothing just as much as full nakedness and am always on board for one partner being fully clothed while the other one is naked. I love rumpled garments, clothing half off, blissful expressions on faces, arms around each other, hard nipples on men and women, erections for men, women who are visibly wet. I adore hair - long hair on heads, underarm hair, beards where relevant, women with muff. I would be in the seventh heaven to receive art depicting any scene from my own fic.
Regarding romance/sex:
I love kink and smut! I'm cool with any kind of ship: poly relationships, het, femslash, and slash, as well as of course solo masturbation and sex that doesn't really fall into the above categories at all, including smut involving trans and intersex characters. I'm cool with very slight underage but all characters must have been through puberty and be old enough to understand what they are doing and what it means. I adore teacher/student dynamics or situations where the parties involved have unequal levels of power (especially if it's Complicated). Loyalty kink is my FAVE, and I like it to be mutual.
Some other things I love include consent play, especially consensual non-consent, pregnancy or breeding talked about in a kinky way (no actual pregnancy please), praise kink, one person giving instructions to the other about what they want, power bottoms and service tops, bratty subs and indulgent dom/mes, competence kink, master/servant or husband/wife role-play, playing with gender roles and presentation, cross-dressing and/or kinking on not conforming to gender expectations/roles, gender and sexual identity being messy and complicated.

Or give me an AU, perhaps one where they met in their university days when they were literally minutes away from each other at any given time? Or anything! I'll love it!

Han Ying survives, perhaps with a timely arrival from Beiyuan and Wu Xi, but the rest of canon mostly plays out the same. Post-canon, Han Ying is the one to find WKX and ZZS in the cave when there's a thaw, but then the weather turns and he gets stuck in there with them. Where do they go from here?
Wen Kexing/Zhou Zishu
I'd love to see a story where they actually get married -- they call each other husband and wife, but let's see the post-canon marriage ceremony, perhaps at a rebuilt Four Seasons Manor, before they head up the mountain to their own new home.
Wen Kexing/Ye Baiyi/Zhou Zishu
While they're all enroute to Long Que, Ye Baiyi overhears WKX and ZZS making love, and at first he listens, like a perv, but then they realise, and ZZS invites him in, partly to annoy WKX, but events...develop.
Liu Qianqiao/Luo Fumeng
Just the two of them taking comfort in each other in Ghost Valley would be lovely! I like the idea of Qianqiao seeing Fumeng as her master in a whole bunch of different ways. :D
Tian Guan Ci Fu/Heaven Official's Blessing
Huā Chéng/Xiè Lián
(I like them switching and/or being weird about gender, using various different forms, etc. I also like Hua Cheng as the worshipful sub and Xie Lian being a dom who is mostly soft and gentle but sometimes not when HC needs that.) I would love to see their relationship way past post-canon, after they've been together for many many years, still having adventures, still utterly in love, both of them completely spoiled by each other in every way possible. It's what they deserve.
Quán Yīzhēn/Yǐn Yù
For these two, I'd love to see their relationship tip over from the "eager puppy love" of Quan Yizhen and the "weird love/hate" of Yin Yu into a real and workable relationship. They have a lot to figure out, and they need to do it in their own way, learning to communicate and understand each other.

Fëanor/Fingolfin
This may be a difficult request, but I'd like to see a story about these two that I've never seen before. Everything I can think of, I've already read it or written it: so, something I would never think of, something wild and wacky!
Daeron/Maglor
How about a story where they meet for the second time when one of them accidentally saves the other from committing suicide as they wander angstily along a beach? (Maglor saving Daeron; Daeron saving Maglor, both are funny for different reasons.) Then they develop a strange sort of hostile friendship once they realise who the other one is, which then becomes something more.
Amras/Amrod
Never enough of these two. I love them fierce and bold, a little wild, not much for social norms or societal taboos. They do what they want! Maybe a story where they actually survive and disappear into Eriador, perhaps even before Sirion.
Bëor/Finrod Felagund
I can never have enough stories about their time together in Nargothrond. Does Beor give Finrod good advice? Do they have long discussions about Beor's mortality and Finrod's immortality, just as Finrod will with Andreth many years later? One thing is true, they completely love each other.
Maedhros/Maglor
I'd just love to see something happy and carefree involving them, maybe when they were young in Valinor, maybe in Beleriand during the Long Peace. Just no doomy angst or angsty Doom, just a moment of pure happiness and love.
Celebrían/Elrond Peredhel/Ereinion Gil-galad
How they got together is always a good time, but I'd also like to see how they continue on when Gil-galad dies. I'd like it if they thought of it as sad only because they are separated for a while, but they know they'll be reunited. And if this makes it easier for Celebrian to sail when it's her time, because she knows she won't be alone.
Aerin/Morwen Eledhwen
I always love to see them grabbing happy moments in the midst of all their suffering. I feel like Aerin brings such light into Morwen's life, and Morwen gives Aerin such peace, and I'd like to see that.
Once Upon a Time in Lingjian Mountain
Hǎi Yúnfān/Wáng Lù
There's so much to explore with these two and they like each other so much! Their first time would be great to see, your choice as to when during canon it was, there's a lot to pick from!
Feng Ling/Wang Wu
They are so wifey about each other, let's make it official, they're endgame in my heart. I'd love to see them take their flirtatious relationship up by notches until they're literally making out and then being like "what are we doing?" shrugging, and going right back to it. :D

- Hope in the midst of despair, rescues at the brink of death.
- Endearments, including the use of intimate pronouns/names/titles, and affection.
- Desperate, heartfelt, longing for love (that is then provided).
- Eucatastrophe (the opposite of catastrophe - a sudden joyous turn in a story).
- Quarrels and fights, high emotional stakes and risks, passion raging out of control, desperation, and sudden impulses.
- Canon-divergence, "for the want of a nail," or "butterfly effect" AUs.

- Outright and graphically described/depicted rape/noncon or torture, extreme physical or mental suffering, 'misery porn', or grimdark. This includes the death of any requested character, except for temporary death, unless the death is canon.
- Harm to animals that goes beyond what's expected in canon. Fine to note that a horse was killed in battle, or that a rabbit was shot and cooked for food, or that someone defended themselves from a bear attack, but no graphic or senseless harm to animals, especially cats or dogs.
- A focus on sickness or illness, pregnancy and babies, or very young children (except where specifically prompted). Okay to mention these things as they are part of life, but I don't want a fic all about them.
- Extreme, out-of-character, romantic angst or miscommunication. If the problem keeping the lovers apart can be solved with one straightforward conversation which they totally have opportunity to have and just keep not having, then it's gone too far. Legitimate misunderstanding or miscommunication is entirely fine.
- For smut: scat, vomiting, shotacon (sex where one participant has not been through puberty), sex involving food (this includes things like chocolate body paint or honey licked off someone), extreme humiliation play such as degrading the sub in a way calculated to hurt them, using safewords during play that isn't specifically consent play (a 'no' or 'stop' should suffice in all other cases). Please don't do the red/green/yellow safeword thing under any circumstances.
- Homophobia, biphobia, transphobia, racism, sexism or the effects thereof as a major part of the story.
- Modern AUs, any AU other than canon-divergence or a space AU, except where noted. Fusions or crossovers with other canons I know are absolutely fine.
- Character-bashing. Don't do it to any character, but especially not to the Fëanorians. I love them and want them to be happy.
- For Tolkien canons: redemption, sorrow for "sin," angsting forever by the seaside, the Valar being right and good in everything they do, and characters needing to suffer for the things they've done. In general, the concept of 'sin' in Tolkien's work is something I'd rather not see at all.
