Loopholes and Choices
1. How many are you happy with? Most of them. Maybe 17 out of the 20.
2. How many are ... not great? I'm not terribly fond of Awake, From the Desk of Maedhros, or In the Closet.
3. How many did you scramble for at the last minute? 5 of them, 3 of those 5 are the ones I'm not happy with. The other two are Silverfoot and Setting A Precedent.
4. How many did you know before you started writing/creating, or near the beginning? 8 out of the 20. (Cinderfëa and the Seven Princes, A Little More Action, Starheart, Worth It, Reckless Abandon, This is the End, Beautiful Friend, Light Fails At Dawn, and Fëanor's Perfect Milk Rolls.)
5. How many are quotes from songs or poems? 4 of them. Light Fails At Dawn, This is the End, Beautiful Friend, Worth It, and A Little More Action.
6. How many are other quotes? 2 Feel, Don't Think, and Set Alight.
7. Which best reflects the plot of the story/content of the fanwork? Four Kinds of Salt.
8. Which best reflects the theme of the story? Loopholes and Choices. (Also, Set Alight.)
9. Which best reflects the character voice of the story/POV of the fanwork? Starheart.
10. Which is your favourite title? Nothing beats Cinderfëa and the Seven Princes, though Reckless Abandon is also a favourite.
Set Alight is a special case, and also a favourite, as I went through quite a few titles before settling on that one. My initial draft was called Tinder Waiting for the Spark, but of course that doesn't actually fit the events of the story, so I changed it to The Spark Alights, but I didn't like that one. I tried Tinder in Flame, and The Tinder Sparks, and then I went back and looked at the inspirational quote again, and realised that it was staring me in the face the whole time.

(Also basically all of my titles are last minute quotes with the rare 'known before writing' exception (more often than not still a quote).)
