What I generally love to see in fanworks:

Loyalty and genuine devotion.
Meaningful sacrifice.
When repressed emotion comes out, especially if it's about love that the character thinks is unrequited but turns out to be requited.
A strong sense of love and caring.
Hope in the midst of despair.
Endearments and affection.
Desperate need or longing for love (that is then provided).
Rescues from the brink of death.
Eucatastrophe (the opposite of catastrophe - a sudden joyous turn in a story).
Quarrels and fights, high emotional stakes and risks, passion raging out of control, desperation, and sudden impulses.
Canon-divergence AUs.
Meeting someone for the first time and feeling an instant kinship with them.
Loyalty or devotion to a cause or a person.
Working together like a well-oiled machine.
Battlefield friendships.
Enemies working together to defeat a common greater enemy (then figuring out that they aren't really enemies anymore).
Admiring someone's skill or competence.

For art: Visual depictions of any of the prompts would be really good - I've tried to give prompts that can be depicted as art in some way. But mainly I'm interested to see your vision of the setting and the characters.

If you'd like to draw me smuttier art, I love suggestive clothing just as much as full nakedness and am always on board for one partner being fully clothed while the other one is naked. I love rumpled garments, clothing half off, blissful expressions on faces, arms around each other, hard nipples on men and women, erections for men, women who are visibly wet. I adore hair - long hair on heads, underarm hair, beards where relevant, women with muff. I am utterly indifferent to conventional beauty standards and would in fact prefer to see age lines where appropriate, as well as people of varying sizes, shapes, and skin tones.

Regarding romance/sex:
I love kink and smut! I'm cool with any kind of ship: het, femslash, and slash, as well as of course solo masturbation. For BDSM specifically, I prefer mind or power games to whips and chains, or alternatively, playful experimentation rather than Serious BDSM Is Serious. Dubious consent can also be fun to play with, especially somnophilia or scenarios that involve sex pollen or being forced to have sex by a third party. I love seeing characters so mutually overwhelmed by desire that they can't resist each other. I have no real boundaries when it comes to kink or sex acts (other than my DNWs) and will happily read anything, though I particularly enjoy:

For ships involving only men: auto-anal and auto-fellatio, rimming, watersports, comeplay of all kinds, nipple sucking (especially ritualised), intercrural sex, frottage (especially clothed frottage including coming in pants), and lovingly described blowjobs. Anal sex is good too, but I prefer it not be considered the be-all and end-all of sex between men.

For ships involving only women: cunnilingus, any kind of anal play, especially rimming, strap-on play, nipple play, and tribadism.

For ships involving a man and a woman: Femdom, cunnilingus, vaginal sex, anal sex.

For threesomes/moresomes involving men and women: femdom, pegging, cunnilingus, especially queening, vaginal sex, and submissive men getting tied up.

What I don't want:

Extensive torture or fic that's all about mental or physical suffering.

Graphic depictions of violence or gore -- mentions of injuries, etc, are okay, vivid descriptions or graphic art are not.

Outright rape/noncon depicted graphically (dubcon is very welcome however).

Excessive miscommunication, romantic angst, or betrayal of trust.

AUs, other than canon-divergence. I prefer the characters in their canon setting.

Finduilas Faelivrin/Gwindor/Túrin Turambar:
Gwindor persuades himself that he'll do anything for Finduilas, so sleeping with Túrin too is really no big deal. He doesn't find Túrin attractive himself, oh no, not at all....

Idril Celebrindal/Maeglin | Lómion/Tuor:
Idril's agreement to allow her cousin into her bed comes with certain caveats. Certain blond, tall, Manly, caveats. Maeglin likes said caveats more than he should.

Urwen Lalaith/Niënor Níniel/Finduilas Faelivrin:
Somehow they find each other, three waifs cast adrift in the hard, cruel world.

Beren Erchamion/Lúthien Tinúviel/Finrod Felagund:
Lúthien is just in time to save her cousin. The victory leaves her running high on emotion, and Finrod and Beren overwhelmed with relief. They team up to satisfy her every desire.

Idril Celebrindal/Tuor/Voronwë:
Tuor loves both Idril and Voronwë. He doesn't want to give either of them up. Maybe the solution's a threesome? (Definitely the solution's a threesome.)

Anairë/Eärwen/Nerdanel:
These three were together long before they met their respective husbands.

Celebrían/Elrond Peredhel:
Elrond is busy. Elrond has no time for love. Celebrían, certain that he loves her despite never speaking of it, takes matters into her own hands.

Berúthiel hated Gondor, her husband, and everything to do with the northern lands she was sent to. In the desert, she left a maiden with dark skin and hair, with lips the colour of roses, and eyes that sparkled like the night itself. Will they ever see each other again?

Aragorn | Estel/Theoden:
Aragorn, in disguise as Thorongil, seduces a young Theoden, who spends the rest of his days dreaming of 'the one that got away,' until the day when he sees him again, looking barely older.

Aragorn | Estel/Halbarad:
Halbarad is not too far off Aragorn's own age, and once they meet, quickly becomes the cousin and friend (and more!) that he should've had while growing up in Rivendell.

Arwen Undómiel/Ioreth:
Arwen is intrigued by mortality, Ioreth invites her to observe how to grow old on one's own terms.

Ioreth/Original Female Character(s):
Ioreth has a 'friend' in Imloth Melui who she has never forgotten, in whose cheeks are roses beyond compare.

Elrond Peredhel/Ereinion Gil-galad:
Elrond first meets Gil-galad during the War of Wrath, and despite the beauty and majesty of the Vanyar and Maiar forces, can't take his eyes off the High King of the Noldor.

The Hobbit (All Media Types)

Galadriel | Artanis/Tauriel:
Tauriel comes to Lothlórien for a visit and asks to look into Galadriel's Mirror.

Tauriel/Lírien:
In Rivendell, Tauriel finds herself intrigued by the sharp-tongued Lírien.

Tauriel/Original Female Character(s):
Tauriel wanders southward and meets a mortal woman who she falls hard for.

Lírien/Original Female Character(s):
One of the women of the Dúnedain comes to Rivendell on an urgent errand, and finds Lírien most interesting. Lírien is interested, too.

Tauriel/Lírien/Original Female Character:
Tauriel and Lírien are a couple but they still feel like something's missing. When they meet one of Galadriel's bodyguard, visiting from Lórien, they know they've found her.

Galadriel/Lírien/Tauriel:
The chances of them all being in the same place at the same time are so rare. It must be destiny. Galadriel and Lírien seduce Tauriel, and she accompanies them Oversea at last.

Arwen has a strength in her, as well as a fierceness, that Tauriel finds herself deeply attracted to.

Finduilas survived Nargothrond (maybe one of her handmaidens or her lover was killed in her stead), assumed a successful disguise, and has been living quietly and happily in Eriador, at some distance from Elvish society, for years. When Celebrían turns up in her woods, Finduilas must make a choice: to deny her feelings, or reveal her secret (and her heart) to her younger cousin.

Erendis (Silmarillion)/Queen of Faerie (Smith of Wootton Major):
Erendis didn't drown, but was caught up in a different tale. She meets the Queen of Faerie, and longs only to dance beside her forever.

Erendis and Penelope somehow meet (perhaps in dreams) and commiserate over their sea-stolen husbands.
