c_ent, a delightful and active community of people interested in any aspect of Chinese entertainment, run by the amazing dancing_serpent, who puts up twice-weekly discussion posts that go a long way to keeping the community talking. It's really easy to just drop a comment talking about what you've been watching or what you'd recommend, and it's great to see conversations developing. I've added so much to my watchlist because of this community, love the enabling. :D
As a fan of Zhang Zhehan, who was forced out of China's entertainment industry in August 2021 due a series of manufactured scandals and who is currently fighting for justice, I find it can be really difficult to keep up with what's happening in a way that makes sense. Bizarrequazar on Tumblr has been an absolute lifesaver and meticulous recordkeeper. I wouldn't necessarily recommend starting here if you know nothing about the situation*, but if you've heard things and are not sure what to believe, this is a good place to go and to refer back to.
One of my favourite places to hang out lately has been the Disciples of Zhou Zishu Discord server, a very friendly and VERY active community for Word of Honor, the original books Faraway Wanderers and Lord Seventh, Gong Jun and Zhang Zhehan, and their ship Junzhe, as well as all kinds of random discussion, trading merch, and enjoying C-Ent in general. I've linked to the Twitter account as that's the public face of the server.
*If you don't know anything about Zhang Zhehan (possibly aside from his starring role in Word of Honor), teddyfoxfluff's blog is probably the best place to start for an overview of what happened in August 2021.
